A yellow omelette with a dot of ketchup in a matte black mini skillet, made as a chopstick rest at Ihoshiro Kiln in Mizunami, Gifu Prefecture, one of the towns that make Mino ware. It shares the skillet with the kiln's fried egg design.
The kiln fires in electric kilns and runs its workshop partly on solar power.
Small enough to sit beside a rice bowl, steady enough to rest a pen on your desk.
