OURS is French for "bear" and English for "us" — both fitting for a Taipei studio built on friendship and forest-cozy illustration. Founded in 2013 by watercolor illustrators Hank (of Everyday Diary) and Koopa (of Forest Doodle Book), OURS Studio designs stationery around loose, botanical watercolor and the quiet ritual of keeping a daily journal. In 2015 the pair spent a year in Osaka, exhibiting at handmade markets in Tokyo and Kyoto, and brought back a more exacting, detail-focused sensibility that now runs through their work alongside their original Taiwanese energy. Best known for original masking tape, OURS also makes notebooks, pins, and stickers — watercolor and mixed-media scenes translated into paper goods meant for a well-used desk.
