SALIU is a Japanese ceramics label that partners directly with kilns across Gifu Prefecture's Mino ware region — including Kozan, Hyozan, Minami-gama, Shinko, and Tanzangama — to bring small-batch matcha bowls to a wider audience. Each bowl is thrown, glazed, and fired entirely by the kiln itself; SALIU's role is discovery and curation, not manufacturing. The result is a rotating collection of one-of-a-kind bowls, several rooted in techniques centuries old, none of them mass-produced.
