A slice of white bread with a fried egg on top, made as a rest at Ihoshiro Kiln in Mizunami, Gifu Prefecture, one of the towns that make Mino ware. Sized for a breakfast spoon or fork as much as for chopsticks.
The kiln fires in electric kilns and runs its workshop partly on solar power.
Small enough to sit beside a rice bowl, steady enough to rest a pen on your desk.
** Sold individually. Chopsticks, pens, and other items in the photos are for display and not included.
