Because this is a completely handmade piece by a traditional craftsman, please note the following:
Unique Expression: Due to the nature of the handmade process, every bowl varies in size, color, pattern, and glaze expression. You may notice uneven glaze, drips, small pinholes, or tiny iron-powder spots — we encourage you to cherish these individual differences as the unique personality of your specific bowl, not as defects.
Living with the Ware: The soil and glazes were chosen for their soft, organic textures. Some pieces may feature fine, web-like crazing (kannyu) on the surface at purchase, while others will develop it as they're used over time. We hope you'll embrace these changes as a sign of the bowl's history and the moments you've shared with it.
Care Instructions: Not suitable for direct fire, microwaves, ovens, or dishwashers. Please wash gently by hand. As this is a porous ceramic piece, it naturally absorbs water — avoid leaving liquid or food inside for extended periods, and it's not recommended for highly oily or strong-smelling foods.
