Matcha Whisk Set - Chasen, Chashaku & Ceramic Stand

The three things you need to make matcha, sold together - a 100-prong bamboo chasen, a bamboo scoop, and a white ceramic stand to dry the whisk on.

The stand is the part people skip and then buy separately later. A chasen left flat loses its shape; dried over a curved stand it keeps the flare that does the work.

Care

• Whisk: soak briefly in warm water before first use. Rinse in warm water after each use - no soap, no dishwasher - and air dry prongs-up on the stand
• Scoop: wipe with a dry or barely damp cloth. Never soak or rinse under running water; bamboo splits as it swells and dries
• Stand: hand wash in warm water and dry. Rinse occasionally, as matcha settles in the base
• Prongs will thin and break over time. That is wear, not a defect
