Two takoyaki with sauce, mayonnaise, and aonori, made as a chopstick rest at Ihoshiro Kiln in Mizunami, Gifu Prefecture, one of the towns that make Mino ware. One of the two has a hole that takes a real toothpick.
The kiln fires in electric kilns and runs its workshop partly on solar power.
Small enough to sit beside a rice bowl, steady enough to rest a pen on your desk.
** Sold individually. Chopsticks, pens, and other items in the photos are for display and not included.
