Designed with a gentle, rounded silhouette that rests naturally in the palms of your hands, this bowl bridges authentic Japanese craftsmanship with modern daily living. It is available in two distinct, nature-inspired glaze finishes:
Sazanami (Ripple): A textured, wavering white expression reminiscent of gentle tides.
Kohaku (Amber): A deep, rich, and earthy tone that exudes warmth and tranquility.
Because these bowls are handcrafted using a meticulous blend of five clays, thirty glazes, and traditional techniques, no two pieces are identical. Each bowl features its own unique "landscape" of glaze drips, color pooling, and subtle texture variations—ensuring your daily matcha ritual is accompanied by a truly one-of-a-kind vessel.

The Beauty of Imperfection: Due to the hand-finished nature of these ceramics, expect slight variations in dimensions, glaze thickness, and color expression. You may notice small pinholes, glaze drips, or tiny iron-powder spots. Please embrace these as the inherent warmth and charm of handmade pottery.
Crazing (Kannyu): Fine, decorative web-like cracks may be visible on the glazed surface upon purchase, or they may develop naturally as the piece is used over time.
Porous Material: This type of ceramic is naturally water-absorbent. To prevent staining and odors, avoid leaving liquid or food sitting in the bowl for extended periods. It is not recommended for strongly scented or oily foods.
